The Malmø Doc Lab Rough Cuts is providing a number of solutions in order to bring your documentary project to next level, when is comes to narrative structures, visual storytelling, character development, distribution strategies and impact possibilities.
The Malmø Doc Lab Rough Cuts is lead by Director Magnus Gertten, Editor Jesper Osmund and Producer & Outreach Manager Ove Rishøj Jensen.
The feedback and input to your documentary project, being in late production or rough cut stage, will be adjusted to the needs of your project and the timeline for the completion. To give an impression of some of the things we are offering, please take a look at some of these Rough Cut Packages, that we have put together:
- IMPROVE YOUR STORY
- We will watch your rough cut - with a maximum of 2 hours material
- We will have a one-hour video meeting
- We will provide input to the further editing and story enhancement of your documentary.
- We will provide 1 person from Auto Images giving you input
- We will ask: a 800 Euro fee for our service
- ENHANCE YOUR STORY AND THE DISTRIBUTION
- We will watch your rough cut - with a maximum of 2 hours material
- We will have a two-hour video meeting
- We will provide input to the further editing, the story enhancement of your documentary, ideas for distribution and international sales.
- We will provide 2 persons from Auto Images giving you input
- We will ask: a 1500 Euro fee for our service
- AMPLIFY YOUR STORY, DISTRIBUTION AND IMPACT
- We will watch your rough cut together at Auto Images - with a maximum of 3 hours material
- We will have a full day together at Auto Images
- We will provide input to the further editing, the story enhancement of your documentary, ideas for distribution and sales as well as suggestions for generating an impact with your film.
- We will provide 2-3 persons from Auto Images giving you input on location at Auto Images for a full day including having lunch together at a great local restaurant.
- We will ask: a 2500 Euro fee for our service
- IN DEPTH WITH STORY, DISTRIBUTION AND IMPACT
- We will watch your rough cut together at Auto Images - with a maximum of 3 hours material
- We will have two days together at Auto Images
- We will provide an in depth feedback to the character development, dramaturgical structure, the story enhancement and the further editing, ideas for completion funding, distribution, festival strategy, pre-sales and international acquisitions as well as suggestions for an impact campaign for your film.
- We will provide 2-3 persons from Auto Images giving you input on location at Auto Images for a full day including having lunches together at great local restaurants.
- We will ask: a 3500 Euro fee for our service
- If need we can also provide you with suggestions for accommodation and flights.
